Sorry for the Blogghorrea, but fuck, George Carlin is dead.

Never met the man, but anyone who aspires to make people laugh is standing on the shoulders of this guy.

Such a pioneer, not only in terms of his material, but of where he did it.

I mean he was the host of the the first broadcast of Saturday Night Live.  But also exploring cable tv before it was the cool thing to do.

Thanks George for pushing the limits, giving us inspiration, and mostly, for making us laugh.
